Have the Ultimate Girls’ Weekend in Nashville

Nashville has become one of the hottest destinations for getting the girls together! As one of the most popular travel destinations in the US, Nashville has some great restaurants, bars, hotels, and activities that you will love!


Where to Stay:

Hutton Hotel: Located in the popular West End neighborhood, Hutton Hotel is perfect for a girl’s weekend. Their rooms have more of a retro feel and you’ll have amazing views of downtown. Hutton Hotel also has the Mane & Rye restaurant as well as a spa and a live music venue.

Fairlane Hotel: Opened in 2018, the Fairlane Hotel is one of the newer boutique hotels located in Nashville. With a mid-century design, you’ll feel like you stepped back in time. Fairlane features great coffee and food spots such as Ellington’s Mid Way Bar & Grill.

The Germantown Inn: If you’re looking for a hotel that feels more like home, then The Germantown Inn is exactly what you’re looking for! Located in the Germantown neighborhood, there are a ton of things to see in the area that aren’t the hustle and bustle of downtown. You can visit the farmer’s market as well as Bi-Centennial Park with just a quick walk.

Urban Cowboy B&B: If you’re looking to stay somewhere that is Instagram worthy, then you can’t miss out on the Urban Cowboy B&B. Down in East Nashville, this B&B is what interior design dreams are made of. It’s located inside of a historic Victorian mansion and has a bar and kitchen with a great menu you can enjoy while sitting by the fire.


Where to Drink:

Barista Parlor: One of the most popular coffee shops in town, Barista Parlor is a beautiful venue that you have to see. It’s also a great place to pick up some breakfast. The vibe here is really calm and they have a ton of different coffee options that are sure to satisfy your caffeine craving.

Pinewood Social: Have you ever wanted to go somewhere where you can eat, drink, swim, and bowl all under one roof? Pinewood Social on Peabody Street boasts all of that and more. This place can get pretty busy which is why it would be a fun stop to pick up a drink. They do offer different menus all day long, so stay as long as you want to. Reservations are recommended.

L.A. Jackson: Would it be a girl’s weekend if you didn’t visit a rooftop? Located at the Thompson Nashville (which is also a great hotel), L.A. Jackson is designed by the famous ID firm from NYC, Parts and Labor Design. They have an amazing cocktail list and unbeatable views!


Where to Eat:

Biscuit Love: After all your celebratory cocktails, you’ll need something to soak it all up. Biscuit Love is the go-to place for breakfast. It actually started as a food truck and become so popular it now has a permanent location. You may want to head out of the door early as this hot spot can sometimes have an hour long line!

Edley’s BBQ: There aren’t enough words to describe how good Edley’s BBQ is. Having been voted the best BBQ in Nashville, there is a reason that this place is so popular. With three locations in Nashville, there is bound to be one near you. Make sure you get the turkey platter, you won’t regret it!

Husk: If you’re looking to treat yo’ self, then Husk is a must. It is inside of an 1800s mansion that shows off the best the south has to offer. With local ingredients and unique takes on classics, the food is so worth the wait. You need to make reservations as soon as you can, this place fills up FAST.

Henrietta Red: Also located in Germantown, Henrietta Red is not only run by an amazing woman, but it also makes seasonal food.  And they do it so well. It’s a great place to have both drinks and a full dinner. They also have a lot of vegetable-forward dishes if you’re looking for some healthier fate amidst a comfort food town.


What to Do:

Visit Broadway: I know what you’re thinking, Broadway?! If you have never been to Nashville, it is worth spending a few hours on the most popular street in the city. Check out some of the live music venues and enjoy a few drinks.

Visit The Ryman: You’ve probably heard of The Ryman before, right?  It’s the former location for the Grand Ole Opry where you can catch some of the biggest names in music. It’s also just a few steps off of Broadway which makes it easy to visit.

Cheekwood Botanical Garden: A little bit of a drive from downtown, Cheekwood Botanical Gardens is a great place to spend some relaxing time outdoors. It also has a beautiful estate house that you can check out with a ton of art. Check the calendar before you go, there are always exciting events going on.

Arrington Vineyards: Maybe you’ve had enough of downtown and you want to get out. Arrington Vineyards is about 45 minutes outside of Nashville. It’s the perfect place to sample more of the classic cuisine of the region (preferably Edley’s BBQ) and try some amazing wine with your besties.
