No prizes for guessing which one tops our list. Thailand is a real paradise of white sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters in hues of turquoise and cerulean. There’s a beach for everyone – be it lazy sunbathing or water sports enthusiasts.

There are hundreds of beautiful beaches in Thailand, like Phi Phi and Koh Samui. Some luxurious resorts even have their own private beaches. If you’re visiting Koh Samui, make sure to take the speed boat to the other neighboring islands like Koh Phangan, Koh Tao, and Mango Beach.

2. Queensland, Australia

Turning the plane way down under, we land in Queensland, another world-class destination for hundreds of must-visit beaches. Two of our favorites here are Whitehaven Beach (often voted one of the world’s most beautiful beaches) and Seventy-Five Mile Beach, where you can find the Maheno Shipwreck, Champagne Pools, and a stunning volcanic rock formation.

3. United States

Who said you have to go international to find your dream beach? A good reason why most Americans don’t travel much abroad is that this huge country someplace to see for almost everything – deserts, rainforests, tundra, and even the most breathtaking beaches in the world. Sanibel, an island city in Lee County, FL is known for its pretty shell-strewn beaches. There’s also Coronado Beach for an action-packed beach vacation with the family in the San Diego area, and Cannon Beach about 80 northwest of Portland, OR.
